Rohan Collection

Some twenty years ago, Antoinette de Rohan discovered in an attic in the castle a collection of dolls belonging to her husband’s great grandmother, Herminie de Rohan who had started to collect dolls at the end of the 19th century.  Rarely on public view, Antoinette de Rohan  spent several years completing the inventory of the dolls, researching their origins, and the histories attached to them.

Now, the collection is composed of some 5000 items, numbering around 3000 dolls. Toys, games, plush animals as well as children’s book, some extremely rare, complete the collection.
